Courtyard Health Clinic service fees

Courtyard Health Clinic aims to be as clear as possible about consultations and costs, providing you with the consultation that is best suited to you.

We provide a range of consultation types, depending on the concern that you may have and the length of time required. Below is an overview of our consultation types, what they may be best suited for and the costs.

We offer both in-person and virtual GP consultations to suit your needs and preferences.
There is no VAT on our fees.

Home visits

Home visit consultations are typically available within approximately a one-hour travel radius from our base at Eskmills, Musselburgh. This allows us to maintain the highest standard of care while ensuring practical and timely access.

The fee for a Home Visit starts at £350. However, depending on travel time and individual requirements, this may be subject to adjustment. All costs will be clearly communicated prior to booking.

Medical forms and reports

At Courtyard Health Clinic, we are happy to assist with applications, documentation and other medical assessment forms.

We will review the details and provide a tailored quote. As a general guide, fees typically range from £150 to £300 for clinic time, with additional charges for any required blood tests or investigations.

Medical letters and documentation

At Courtyard Health Clinic, we provide a range of medical letters and certificates. In many cases, if the document can be completed during your standard consultation, there will be no additional charge.

Below is a general guide to our standard fees:

  • Referral to a Specialist: £50
  • Simple medical letter: £50
  • Private Sick Note: £50
  • Holiday Cancellation Certificate: £50

These are standard fees, but final costs may be dependent on the complexity and time required for your individual request.  If you are unsure what category your request falls under, we are happy to advise in advance.

Corporate Health Screen Package

Includes up to 90 minutes with one of our doctors, split across two appointments:

  • 30-minute preliminary consultation – for goal setting, clinical review, and sample collection
  • 60-minute follow-up consultation – for physical examination, results discussion, and health planning

A full personalised report will be provided to your employee after their consultation, detailing all results and clinical interpretation.

Occupational Health and pre-employment medicals

At Courtyard Health Clinic, we offer a range of occupational health services, including pre-employment screenings and return-to-work assessments.

  • Pre-employment health screening (via questionnaire): Costs vary depending on the requirements — please contact us for a tailored quote.
  • Pre-employment face-to-face assessment: Typically ranges from £150 to £300, excluding any necessary tests or investigations.
  • Return-to-work occupational assessment and report: Indicative fee is from £290.

Cancellation policy

At Courtyard Health Clinic, we understand that plans can change. However, we believe in being fully transparent about our cancellation policy to ensure fairness for all our patients.

Cancellations can be made by phone, email or via the link contained within the appointment confirmation email. A full refund will be provided if the cancellation is made more than 48 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment will receive a 50% refund.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will not be refunded.
