Joint injections

Courtyard Health Clinic offers joint injections to help reduce pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis. Injections may be suitable for joints including the knee, shoulder, and hip, as well as for inflammation affecting tendon sheaths or bursae.

Steroid injections deliver a targeted anti-inflammatory treatment directly to the affected area and are most effective where inflammation is a contributing factor.

A joint injection appointment costs £160 and must be paid at the time of booking. This fee includes a full GP assessment and, where clinically appropriate, the injection itself.

If the assessment determines that a joint injection is not suitable, the injection will not be carried out and you will be refunded the difference between the joint injection fee and a standard 30-minute GP appointment.

All patients are assessed individually, and further injections are offered only where appropriate and in line with clinical guidance.
