Health assessments

A comprehensive health assessment is a proactive way to understand your current health, whether you are seeking reassurance or looking to identify potential concerns at an early stage.

At Courtyard Health Clinic, health assessments can be undertaken as a standalone service or as part of our membership programme, where they form a core component of ongoing, personalised care.

Our approach is thorough, evidence-based, and highly individual. Many of our patients attend for reassurance and preventative care, while others have specific concerns or want to optimise their long-term health.

We place strong emphasis on continuity and relationship-based care. Your initial assessment allows us to build a detailed and meaningful picture of your health and lifestyle, creating a clear foundation for future care and decision-making.

A structured, clinically-led approach

We recognise that every individual’s health concerns and priorities are different. Our approach to screening is therefore structured, but flexible.

We begin with a comprehensive core assessment and only recommend additional investigations where there is clear clinical value. This keeps your assessment focused, relevant, and avoids unnecessary testing.

Your assessment is delivered across two consultations: an initial appointment involving sample collection and tests such as ECG and spirometry, followed by a dedicated follow-up consultation to review your results, carry out a full physical examination, and agree a personalised plan.

Where further investigation or treatment is required, we will either continue your care within the clinic or support onward referral, ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated pathway.
