Dr Victoria McBride founded Courtyard Health Clinic to give patients space to be heard and care that considers the whole person. Enhanced+ Membership brings that approach into ongoing GP care.
We’re an independent GP clinic in Musselburgh, with a team who can help coordinate appointments, private referrals and prescriptions.

INCLUDED EVERY YEAR
Health screening with a plan, not just results.
Enhanced+ Membership includes an annual advanced health screening. It gives you and your GP a fuller picture of your health, including cardiovascular and metabolic health, blood count, kidney and liver function, thyroid health and nutritional status.
Your GP discusses the findings with you, and you receive a personalised report and a plan for the year ahead. Additional investigations outside the included screening may carry a separate charge.

What does Enhanced+ Membership include?
Membership includes unlimited private GP appointments, 30-minute standard consultations, annual
advanced health screening and a personalised health plan. Children under 18 can be included at no
additional membership cost. Our team can talk you through the full benefits and terms.
How much does membership cost?
We’ll explain the current membership options, costs and terms, including your partner discount, when we
speak. Enquiring does not commit you to joining.
Can I join on my own, as a couple or as a family?
Yes. We can explain the options for individuals, couples and families, and help you choose what suits
your household.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
We prioritise urgent concerns and offer same-day appointments where possible. Availability will depend
on the day and the care you need.
Will I see the same GP?
We aim to offer continuity with the same GP wherever possible. If your usual doctor is unavailable, we’ll
explain the options when you book.
What happens during the annual health screening?
Your screening combines health measurements and tests with a review by your GP. We’ll discuss your
results with you and provide a personalised report and plan for the year ahead.
Are prescriptions, referrals and other tests included?
Private prescription writing and referrals are available when clinically appropriate. Medication, specialist
care and tests outside your included annual health screening may involve additional charges. We’ll
explain any cost before you proceed.
Do I need to leave my NHS GP?
No. You should remain registered with your NHS GP. Courtyard Health Clinic is designed to complement
NHS care.
