Dr Victoria McBride graduated in Medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 2004 and has worked in multiple specialities including: surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency medicine, dermatology and elderly care, providing a wide breadth of experience and understanding of the healthcare landscape. She completed the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017.

In 2021, Dr McBride attained a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and has led the Occupational Health service for an Edinburgh-based clinic for three years, supporting a range of sectors.

Dr McBride is committed to early cancer diagnosis and sits on the Scottish Steering Committee for the Brain Tumour Charity and chairs the Patient and Carer Group for the Scottish Adult Neuro-Oncology Network.
